I was actually more in love with my four legged friend today than anything else. Nursing him has been an absolute pleasure for both of us. He has been undergoing tests and frankly I think that once he has been cleared on these he wont have to go through that stress again, and neither will the vet. He is getting quite a reputation. The specialist looked positively frightened and was expecting the Dragon to emerge from the basket I think. The Dragon didnt quite come out but he definitely was not pleased at being defined by the veterinarian society as 'uncooperative'!
Frankly he has been 'uncooperative' since having his lower anatomy snipped by order of his previous owners. I dont know what happened with that particular vet but I do know the absolute darling in question had to have two sedatives. Since then, he has not been keen on giving any vet a chance to explain himself, not even my lovely guy who is the favourite vet in the area. Unfortunately his first visit there had me trying to free his claws from the vet's face. Very embarrassing.
Anway, just a little note to you all to say Happy Valentine's Day and even if you aren't feeling particularly loved or appreciated, someone somewhere is probably saying b.................r I forgot to send the card!
